Reflecting on the Decision from a Year Ago to Re-Open Newell Strength

 

About a  year ago, we were all over the news for our decision to re-open Newell Strength in defiance of the norm at the time.

I was pondering how I got to where I am at the other day and how funny it is  to me that I have people reaching out to me from all over the world, literally, on advice on one thing or another.

 

That was never my  intention.  

 

My  intention was to learn and still is to learn.  

 

Combine that with living by my  principles and here I am.

 

In this episode, I talk about some of the things that have gotten me to this point, use this information to best suit yourself.

If  you   were  to come to  me because a Hollywood Director came to  you  and  told you  they had a role for  you,  but  you’d have to  be 20-30 pounds fatter in  just 6 weeks, here is the way  I would advise you.  

 

-Cut down and manipulate sleep

-Small,  frequent meals and then some

-Beer

-Keep your water and sodium low

-Put you on a treadmill  for  an hour per day

 

Yes, it all  seems counterintuitive, so you’ll have to listen to find out why.

Testosterone and Being a Dad

 

Just the other night, I gave a seminar on testosterone.  Testosterone is the hormone that makes a man a man.  

 

But, there are also other things that you to realize that make a man a warrior.  And no, I am not talking about going out and picking fights.

 

You have a garden to cultivate and protect.

 

You now have wisdom and physicality on your side.  

 

The warrior inside of you  is dying to come alive and be a part of your life.  

 

Don’t ignore it.
