In today’s show, the human strength expert Kyle Newell gives an exciting talk about understanding body language and nonverbal cues. It’s good to determine what people are really trying to express in order to give room for positivity and success in life. Tune in and learn how to be a mind magician!  

Sensing the Negativity

The brain and the body are tied to the nervous system. This is why it’s important to understand the nervous system on a basic level. If we aren’t familiar with it, we cannot make the best out with our brain and body.

Think about the time when you sat across someone, and felt the negativity in the air. It’s like you didn’t like to be around that person. Your nervous system took in what your body or brain perceived, and the system doesn’t lie.

The Friend Equation

Kyle shares a book about body language and human relationship. You can use the lessons it has to create or pull out of friendship. In any type of relationship, there are basically four factors: proximity, frequency, duration, and intensity.

Consider being in a long distance relationship. Both frequency and proximity are low. You’d need to increase the intensity and duration to make up for the loss.

You can figure the equation on paper. It’s fun when you figure things out.

Building A Sphere of Positivity

The more familiar you are with human relationships, the more able you are to build a great sphere of influence. Kyle reminds that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.

He admits that there were times when he had to pull people out of his life. He still considers them as friends, but their philosophy in life just didn’t match. There are times when you need to take out the negative to give more place to the positive things in your life.

As Kyle discusses, you don’t have to be mean when cutting someone off. It’s completely normal to bond with others. This is why the brain does not pick up what happens in the process.
